I am currently making my third lot of Peach Schnapps from the Prohibition High Alcohol Liqueur kits.
The previous 2 attempts were superb and just wanted to tell people about it incase they have seen the kits but not been sure.

There are several flavours to choose from, I am also making a coffee rum this time, it makes 4.7 litres of approx 20% ABV liqueur that tastes as good, if not better, than the shop bought ones and all for a fraction of the price at £10.95 for the kit. There are also kits to make gin, whiskey, vodka and others at slightly higher prices but for the same quantities. :drunken:

The instructions are easy to follow and all that u need to add is water and sugar - loads of sugar - 1600gms to start and extra at the end for sweetening depending on the flavour u have bought. Everything else is in sachets, clearly labelled within the kit. It says it is ready in 3 weeks - I have found that it takes probably a couple of weeks more than that but still not too long to wait. U will need a 5 litre demijohn with airlock and away u go!!

Have enclosed a link for a brewing supplier that sells them. There is also someone on ebay that sells them but the price is the same - obviously a set price for the kit.

Very highly recommended!

The ingredients are:

Sachets: Sucrose & citric acid, yeast, yeast nutrient, Kieselsol (finings), modified chitosan (finings), activated charcoal.

Preservatives E223 & E202

Flavourings: Glycerine E422 and colourings E104 & E133 for the chocolate mint or E163 for the sloe gin.

Thats all of it!
