gunners is alive allotment update special!!!!!

hiiii there.i am eating some of my early spuds but leaving some a bit longer.i have french bean runner runnerbeans french dwarf bean all growing, i am on my 5 full carrier bag of broad bean and the aquadulce over wintering variety is excellent.i have put about 110 leeks in and have some more in pot to fill gaps in and get another row.i have 11 courgette plants in floer and showing little courgettes.1 butternut squash.and at home i have 5 butternut squah growing to put on lottie.in my garden i have strawberries 9 tomato plants sunfloweres and a further four courgette/marrows. alaso i have sown another dozen.in my littel mini green house i have.2 scotch bonnet chili peppers and a cue cumber plant.on me lottie i hav 7 rows spuds 2and half rows parsnips beetroot spring onion turnip basil corriander,carrots raddishes lettuces more spring onions, its nearly a year now since i took on the plot but its coming on the weeds are a bit crazy and i keep them down ,when im on me hols for a week i have to pick the runners the night before and pick on me return im sure there be fine lol.

WOW Gunners... sounds like you've been VERY busy - lottie sounds very productive too.... Nice one mate.

Good to hear from you again mate, I was beginning to wonder if you'd locked yourself in the shed on the allotment, whether we should send someone to look under the door for you!

good to hear it is going well mate, good to hear about the beans - ours are just starting to form, we have had real trouble with aphids butht ladybird larva have sown up in full force and seem to be getting it sorted.
I can see you getting sick of courgettes with that amount. - We have 3 plants at the moment and some more planted from seed recently comming up.
we had our first full meal on ours today. baby beetroots fired in butter, new potatoes ( from the 2nd earlies) with some steamed beet spinach and a leaf salad. - well nice.

we had me early spuds broad beans turnip and carrot thinnings and of course lots of chicken and i made a cheese and chive sauce of course the chives are from the window box lol
