Great little book, has helped me to make amazing pastry for the first time ever, have been trying for 25 years and have finally made it 
. For those of you that remember she was the cook in the Victorian Kitchen Garden with Harry Dodson and went on to do wartime kitchen with him. Lovely little recipes, fudge is fab, fruit cake lush and gainsborough tart yum!!
