I love strawberries!
My brother and his partner came to visit over the weekend, and we were too busy entertaining them to pick berries for a couple of days. So, this afternoon, we had to do a major catch-up picking. My back is killing me, but it was so worth it. I love strawberries!

Oh my god, if you picked that many that means you'll have that many to pick again in a few days time, and again, and again and again........
Even I would not know what to do with all that lot and I love strawberries! Enjoy!

We have three beds, about 4 feet by 16 feet, with a net on supports to make an enclosed berry room.sarahkeast wrote:Good grief ! how much space, or how many plants is that haul from ? picture of the growing setup please.

We freeze most of them, so we can have home-made strawberries all winter.

I think I want to swear at you
that is an amazing harvest!
Our strawberry harvest amounted to one dessert bowl full, which my son managed to scoff in about 30 seconds flat

Oh your fruit cage/room makes life much easier, I have netting over hoops weighed down with stones around the edges and that's such a pain moving the stones to get in at the strawbs then putting it all back again!
