Younger offspring (aged 9 & 4) are off on a three-day jaunt in the Auvergne with the school leaving only the eldest daughter here to be "looked after."
God it's quiet.

But the weird thing is(and my kids are a similar age,4,6,10,) even though they've only been around for a bit of my life,I can barely remember what it was like before but I seem to remember it was pretty good.
For gods sake don't let the guinea pigs croak.
