That one patch aghhhh

Why is it that no matter how much you get up to your allotment there is always one patch that is left uncultivated. One bit that gets forggoten. We have now had our allotment for about 4 years and the top right hand corner has never been used!

Plant some Jerusalem artichokes - you'll never need to worry about it again

Well ...
Year 1 Plant JAs. Harvest JAs.
Year 2 JAs reappear. Harvest more.
Year 3 More JAs appear. Harvest tons of the buggers.
Year 4 OMG I'm sick of JAs, but they're all over the place.

I agree with Susie. It's called biodiversity and allowing a naturally beneficial eco-system to develop. Or something.

Just tie together a bundle of bamboo canes. Stick them in the ground. Nice house for your beneficial insects that you're trying to attract with the uncultivated area
Move to Highlands (probably quite quickly)
