Sawfly caterpillers

Found a bunch of sawfly caterpillers rampaging on my currants yesterday
I hope I got most of them, this is the first year my soft fruit has actually looked quite healthy - I might even get round to netting before the birds get there too, lol

I haven't got any yet and not even a bad case of aphids either.
........ you know what will happen tomorrow now I've opened my big gob.

MMM, you should definately know better. I had phoned my mother saying how delightful it was that I had produced a Lupin for the first time ever which hadn't been killed off by the slugs. It was even flowering, and then the heavens opened and by morning my lupin was no more than a stalk

. Me and my big gob!!!!!!!

had them on my hydrangea and they didn't half have a feast, but didn't decimate the whole plant. All finished now (until the next invasion)
