I'm looking at experimenting with lunar planting this year, starting with peas. Has anyone had any experience with this?

I tried it two years ago; but I couldn't really draw any conclusions because it was so horrifically wet and cold for much of the season - had it been more like a typical year I think it would have been a more useful experiment, and I would have had a level playing field for comparison, if you see what I mean. I would like to try it again, though.

I lunar plant and have found it to be very successful. As a control I have had none lunar planted side beds with exactly the same soils and seeds and a more rough comparison with neighbours veggie plots. Generally - even taking into account difficult weather conditions, I have had larger crop yields, less disease and pests by following the lunar calendar, for composting and grafting as well as planting and sowing.

I have mostly planted by the moon for a few years but as I'm disorganised, some things end up getting sown on other days.

I definitely feel that the seeds sown to the moon produce stronger and healthier plants, though it could be that I have more faith in them as I feel they should be doing well and so send them more good vibes/ look after them better than the other plants!

(I have a dim memory of someone's labelling theory from A level sociology... Becker?? Didn't think I remembered anything from college; feeling quite studious now!)
