In the bath, in the sink, in a separate baby bath, with or without a seat in the bath... too many choices!

all of the above, although favourite time is now, with him being nearly two and in the bath with me, lots of splashing and water fights, and if your lucky no added fluids from the little one, so you can just top up the warm water and enjoy a soak after hubby gets him out!

I used to help bathe my little brother alot, we'd either have him share with whichever adult wanted to take a bath or we'd run a shallow bath and use one hand to support his head, and just let the rest of him bob away. Used to relax him so much, he'd rarely stay awake!

in the baby bath, as this majorly saves on the hot water! we dont have baths often enough to take one with her otherwise i would do that! I wouldnt bother with the chair contraption things i doubt they'll last long!

Some friends bought what looks like an opaque bucket for their newborn. Apparently it's meant to feel like being in the womb to baby. It probably cost a fortune but was no different from a bucket.

And what e er you do - don't use a mangle or socail services will get you!
When my son was wee he hated the baby bath so I just took him in with me, but I did have to hold him down as he was so small and light (being prem) that he just used to float on the surface of the water. In fact I never had a baby bath I always took both of them in with me or used the kitchen sink. During the summer I'd fill the paddling pool with warm water and bubbles and sling them in it!

I guess pretty much like everyone else I have used a mixed of all of the above.
Bathroom sink for when they are tiny. Its not like they are going to spend a lot of time in the sink lol. But this time I have borrowed a baby bath too.
My mother bought me a very expensive hard plastic reclining support for dd1, she (and dd2) hated the position. As it wedged their legs apart.
I found it far easier to fill the main bath up with an inch of water, and let them lie in it.

I was bought one of these Its called a Tummy Tub around £17 if I remember, and true to form my Eldest hated it and cried like mad, only wanting the sink as she was such a long baby and just wanted to stretch out!
Youngest was straight in the sink no messing about, and it was a useful way of keeping the Eldests helpfulness at arms length until she was a bit older!

I use a baby bath for my 4 month old , it seems the easiest option. you dont use much water plus you can get the temperature just right for them. x plus mine was second hand so bargain x

He mostly comes in with me. It's so easy and it works well even when he was tiny. He can breastfeed in there too if he gets hungry! Then DH takes him and I top up with hot water and have a soak

He likes the baby bath too especially now he's happy sitting up (with me holding him) - he has fun splashing and trying to grab his rubber duck and put it it his mouth...
