ant invasion in strawberry plant container

Hello everyone,
I need some ideas on how to get rid of ants. I have a large container of strawberry plants, I was watering them this morning and I noticed that they were INFESTED with ants

!!! Anyone got any ideas on how to get rid of them and save my strawberry plants?

Got any mint? Strew it round the strawberries and the ants will move out

can you submerge the pot? or is it too big? lots of water puts them off and not only do they not like mint - they dont like onions either so onion ends/roots in the pot should make them move house too.
