I've tried these but never drunk enough to test how alcoholic they are! Anyone have a rough idea?

Depends which recipe you're talking about.

The straightforward Nettle Beer works out at a meagre 2.5% ABV. Stonehead's first recipe works out at 6.6% ABV. The one described as "Stronger" works out at less - just 6% ABV. I'll go back and check those again now, just in case. (Double-checked - these figures are correct). In case you're wondering, an ordinary quaffing bitter in a British pub tends to be around the 3.5% to 4.5% mark.
