Birthday monitor needed!

Thomzo is too busy to log in and do all the happy birthdays at the moment, so is there anyone out there who would like to volunteer at least for a little while?

In the meantime I'm going to try to clean up the birthday list, as there are loads of people who don't visit the site anymore and it's a waste of time for the monitor to do a HB thread to them.

Unless you are overrun with volunteers, I wouldn't mind... Gives me a reason to get out of bed in the morning - very important for us unemployed.

Thank you Ina but we might not need a bday monitor after all - John Headstrong has set it up so that all the birthdays that are put in people's profiles (in user control panel) should come up with a thread wishing them happy birthday - it all sounds very technical and complicated but I've put my birthday in as tomorrow as a test to see what happens! If it doesn't work I'll come back to you (but you're not to disappear off for 6 months again!)

Ooooh - sounds all very high tech... Fine with me - but IO do think I'll stay around a bit more now. I'm not dependent on public libraries any more!

Although - my internet is terribly slow today...
