Finally, the garden is almost done

Post: # 156189Post yugogypsy »

Hi All,

Due to a very cold Spring and then a very slow Rick, nothing much happened in our garden.

Now my tenant is helping me run things, we have most of the garden planted.

3 more garden beds for Rick to dig, 3 more garden beds to fence.

I have a girl from Help Exchange coming on Monday for 3 weeks and around June 16, my friend Heather will be coming to help too.

So, there will be lots of pairs of hands to get things done.

The spinach is at the tiny yummy stage and we took some to tenant's Mum last night when we worked in her garden and made her supper.

The corn is coming up, we've got a ton of tomato starts between what I bought and what we planted.

I'm still sort of the head supervisor, so I'd better get outside and see what the guys are doing.

We've got a lot of cleaning yet to do, hopefully with extra hands it will go faster.
 Lois

Will do Fee,

I can't wait until its all done. The cukes went in today and Rick has to turn over the bed for the acorn squash.

We're going to plant more spinach and beets over the next few days.

 Lois
