NICE - how about going with the italian job theme, if you can get hold of projector have an outdoor film evening, string up the union jack bunting, get a big pot of pasta in a simple yummy sauce and wine, have a nice evening and make some money!

Good luck with your fundraising. I'm trying to think of more ideas to help. It's church fete time, could you try some bric a brac stalls? Or even ask all the girls' parents to contribute and do a boot sale? A few of the girls in their uniforms should drum up interest and possibly extra sales!
How much do you need to raise? Perhaps you could put one of those "ticker" things on your signature so we can see how it goes? I would suggest the American idea of cookie sales door to door but I'm not sure of the H & S implications (also girls' safety issues) these days.
