i got my amazon seller account back!

Post: # 150736Post mrsflibble »

they recently demanded i get a credit card so that they could verify my identity. aparently the debit card and account i've been using to pay them for the last 5 year isn't enough. numpties. anyway, i was then worrying that i would have to either get a credit caard or use jim's and lose all my good feedback.

HSBC sent me a replacement debit card this morning, instead of maestro i now have a visa debit and guess what? AMAZON ACCEPTED IT FOR MY SELLER ACCOUNT! so i have listed a load of things on there for sale, woohoo!!

Oh, it makes me mad they way they force you to take on credit cards that you don't want :angryfire:

I had to set up a new paypal account, because it wouldn't let me change country on our account..... so I did that & they don't accept laser cards - and we no longer have a visa debit card.... so I set up a bank payment method & transferred some cash - ok, I thought that should be that.

So on a couple of sites that I would like to use Paypal, I pop the details in & Paypal takes me straight to the 'update your credit card details' page & I can get no further on the payment front! :angryfire:

Mad? You bet!!
The more people I meet, the more I like my garden
