Why is it we have different DVD writing systems? I recieved a dvd-RW (note that symbol, it means a lot) from a craft swap and have to wait until sunday when I'm at my parents' house to see what's on it 'cos my desktop compoopter (being a cheapy one) only has dvd+RW, unlike my dad's which has both and is a dvd -/+ RW.
WHY did they (Philips, the powers that be, people who make compoopters etc) decide to do this? it's infuriating!
