Traitor in the luvpie household

Post: # 149072Post Mr and Mrs luvpie »

Ok today master george luvpie has turned traitor and has spent his day trying to mess up everything I've got done, so far he has:-

(oh and yes I know if I'd been watching him it wouldn't have happened, but hey I had things to do...)

1) whilst I was busy getting one load of washing off the line to replace with the second load, he was busy taking his clean nappies and putting them in the bucket of rancid water that I found and meant to get rid of yesterday!

2) whilst folding the clothes up, he was happyily pottering about in the kitchen with me, later I discovered 15 seed potatoes in the oven, luckily I checked before I turned it on, something I never do.

3) He broke the front of the dispenser part of the washing machine, I know it wasn't hard to fix, but for god sake can't he just not touch anything for 5 minutes.

Hardest part is that after he stopped screaming because of being told off, and I had fixed the washing machine he came up to me gave me a hug said thank you and pulled the ****** thing off again, grinned at me and walked out the kitchen.

Someone please remind me why I want to save the planet for the next generation if this is how they act

Sarah

(rant over going back to see if he is going to eat anything that I cook for him, so far he has refused everything that looks remotely healthy/good for you, it may be bombay mix and ginger nuts for his tea at this rate!)

Because they are wonderful and we love them, and you're right I have to remind myself constantly as my 11, 13 and 15 year old are still doing similar things.

Awww... I think!

I also find potatoes in shoes, water bowls, ovens etc and then have to cut out the bruises when I'm cooking them!

How old is George? My son is 11 months...

Sarah he's 15 months now, oh he was soooo sweet when he was 11 months old, just you wait, I don't think I would have minded so much about the pots if it wasn't for the fact that I'd paid bribed the eldest two with money for the sweet shop to sort the pots out for me!

Anyway, one bag of cat food thrown over the floor, luckily just a sample size so not much there, washing machine pulled apart again, gingernuts, bombay mix and a banana for tea, one bottle of milk following which the little darling was picked up (off the cat who seems really happy about being sat on!) and is now in bed, the house is put back together and I'm putting my feet up and may stop counting in time to do it all over again in the morning!

And do you know what..... wouldn't have it any other way

It seems to me you have a house husband in the making! He clearly inderstands where nappys go and that potatoes go in the oven to be cooked. You may have to work on the washing machine thing tho!
