Where I live our addresses are just our surnames and the hamlet name plus postcode and name of village. We all have our surnames on our mailboxes which are outside our houses. I once received a card addressed to 'Madame Moorhen' (my username on another forum) and how it got to me I will never know! (obviously my surname is not moorhen!)
