My children are now 19, 16 and 3. The older two still call my Mum and Dad...Jellynana and Pop-Pop. I have no idea why and now the little fella is doing the same.

I'm not a grandmother.... but sophie calls my parents grandma and grandad, jim's mum is nanny, jim's dad is grandpa paul and jim's stepdad is grampy harry.

We call my dad's parents Grandma and Grandad, and my mum's parents were Nanny and Grandad.
Grandma didn't like Nanny because she said it made her feel hired, and Nanny didn't like Grandma because she said it made her feel old!
Therefore, when talking about either grandad, it would be 'Nanny and Grandad Grandad', or 'Grandma and Grandad grandad' to distinguish between the two!
