where I live I had 2 inch of rain in 5 mins, not joking, on Tuesday evening. The road became a water fall. The storm drains couldn't cope until I went out with my shovel and sand bags, and we have some large storm drains here. I have never seen rain so torential..rain more like a giant bucket being tipped

Well I did almost get stranded at work. The office and my house are fine but all roads between the two are blocked by flooding. I ended up walking home and having to wade through about 18 inches of water. It was a good job it was Friday and I was in my jeans. I think my high heeled ankle boots are ruined though.

I hope no-one has been badly affected by this weather.
