If you riddle out the charcoal you can use it on the bbq! The rest I bung into the compost heap and give it a good mix round. I have found it to be good at breaking up a clay soil.

you can put it around tender plants to stop slug attack apparently they do not like slithering over the gritty stuff as it dries them out, I have saved mine since October ready to defend my little shoots :lol:
