cut strips to use as plant ties - the fabric doesn't damage delicate plant stems.

fill the peg with rice, tie a knot in it and microwave. One of them hot sack thingies! Add lavender for restful sleep.

Dunk in sterilising solution, then use to strain wine must.

Use to make a rag doll's body. I still have one made for me 40 years ago (Her face is a bit laddered though!) I was going to throw her out when we moved house, but my daughter looked at me horrified and said "you CAN'T throw sukie away!"

Use as a strainer for homemade nettle or comfrey tea.

Use them to tie up tomatoes instead of string.
