Great, glad to be a bringer of good tidings! I like Cygnus books, they have interesting stuff to read. They also send you a Cygnus review by mail with all their latest books on offer.

Cool!

I ordered Shopped, Not On The Label, and something else that i can't remember...i know it wasn't the stain removing book that i originally went there to buy though!

I like the fact that their prices are realistic and reasonable, unlike a lot of other booksellers!

Yeah I know, I went to the bargain page today and got a good deal! There's nothing like a good book at a knock down price.

I'd very much like to learn how to be "greener" with my cleaning products. Does anyone have any tips or recipes for things like dish washer powder, soap jelly/laundry detergents and the like?

I've got loads of recipes for cosmetic type stuff, and a book i can recommend is Clean House Clean Planet. Can't remember who its by now, i'll dig it out later when i get home from work. Its full of cleaning recipes.

If you go to www.azzcardfile.com and download the cardfile programme, then there's a file you can also download at the same time called Bath and Body (or soemthing similar) and that's got loads of recipes in it. AZZ is also really useful for adding to.

Have a look on sites like www.allrecipes.com they sometimes have beauty/bath and body/cosmetic sections and household sections.

I'll have a dig at my books and see if there's any that might help you, but bear with me, i'm in the process of trying to move my bedroom round to fit in a new bed!
