Oh yes there is - pick the long bits and wrap round and around to make a wreath. Dry it for a Christmas decoration.

When i was a kid we used to 'fire' bindweed buds at one another by squeezing the green base until the white bit shot out...simple pleasures.
Cleavers has been used in the past for straining milk and the little beady bits for putting on pins (don't ask why, I dunno). I think I found this info in Richard Mabey...
