No probs, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone else comes along and says the complete opposite. :iconbiggrin: We all have our preferred ways of doing things. :mrgreen:

I guess what you could do with the spuds is mulch with something like grass clippings or even compost if you have it, after you've earthed them up (if you are doing so). Then all that stuff will get dug into the ground as you harvest your spuds.
