Thanks for the advice Rosendula. I don't really want to kill it, it's just that I've got two nice youngsters coming along, but bunged temporarily in a corner of the veg patch. I was hoping to be able to give them away but everybody already has a rosemary! I can't leave these ones there next year as there isn't enough space, and I don't have any more room for something potentially enormous in any flower beds..... :dontknow: Umm, will think about it!

I was just beginning to think I was on top of the autumn job and would soon be able to tuck up for winter and maybe even clean the house, but you've all reminded me of the stuff still to do.....ah well off to the strawberries, raspberries, currants then there's the bean trench to dig, not forgetting the pond to sort and asparagus to move.
Funny my back had been lots better lately, then came the digging season...
