I got back about two weeks ago - we had to cut the trip short (return date was supposed to be 3rd of June), because my husband broke his ankle whilst goat herding! Otherwise, it was a great trip. Really loved the Alpujarras, and then loved the place we stayed in Portugal (www.yurtportugal.com) and hoping to go back as soon as his ankle pins come out. Did lots of fun things including learning about goats, learning to use an axe, going head first into an extremely deep potato clamp, using an ENORMOUS scythe (which came up to my forehead) and lots and lots and lots of weeding!
