Hi Hels,
I smiled when I read your post, the day I went back to work (5th Jan) I came in and decided I wasn't going to do anything!. I was in a right mood. I spent most of the day on the internet....looking for small holdings and woodland!.
Which depressed me further cos they were too expensive.
We made the descision to tighten the belt further and try and pay off the mortgage ASAP, a. so that we can do something we want to, b. incase I get made redundent, which is possible in the current climate.
Of course the good intentions soon go out the window when we've had a bad day (like last night when the OH came through the door with the words get your coat on we're off to the pub!. I didn't argue

)
I just wish we'd decided to try and pay off the mortgage 5 years ago but thats hindsight.
With MOH it's always a rollercoaster of restlessness, depending on how crap work and the weather is. We make a descision like that we wont go on holiday (again for the third year), then when the weathers crap it's "lets go to Italy!", then next day it's "No your right it's too expensive and we need to pay the mortgage off"
