Annpan - try Cafepress.com - I have just ordered a n 'Artists for Obama' shopper and they have a huge range of items with reasonable postage rates.

Sorry, MMM - I thought you were joking!
A wag = a witty person.

Maybe we should start a dictionary corner for explaining terms that don't necessarily travel beyond borders. I've heard a few up here I could do with having explained!

That's probably a very good idea... it's funny how just a few miles can change the meaning of a word considerably let alone country to country :study:

There is one called urban dicationary. The problem is that there is such a huge amount of difference between what people in different areas mean by the same term. For example, there are currently 28 different suggestions for 'wag'. No. 22 says, "To shake one's penis at another person", and that was one of the more polite ones  . If MMM had looked up the term on there, she may well have been rather offended. Better, methinks, to ask the person who says it

 so when you've finished looking up J Cloths, you can now have fun with the urban dictionary

I look up how to spell things at www.onelook.com all the time.

I looked up info on MRI's and brain tumors, don't know if that's what I have but it seems more likely as time passes.

I looked up snails, how to use them as living pond filters, and how to eat them.

I just spent 15 minutes or so looking up how to make wheat hand warmers and then trying to find some reasonable deal on buying wheat...

... I never just buy something in the shop when I see it

After having my first successful year with Butternut squash the OH needed a recipe. Found one on the net for butternut squash and carrot soup. Absolutely great, plenty in the freezer now for the winter.
