What was the last book you read and did you enjoy it?
I am currently reading Mecredi ou jamias - a french book aimed at 10 year olds, in an attempt to improve my french - it's taking me ages but I'm enjoying it. Previous one I finished ('cos I have about 3 others on the go at any one time  ) was about Greenwich. Bit heavy going at times but interesting.

Where were you when you last laughed?
At a friends today

Why? (ie what made you laugh)
Because OH and friend were pulling overgrown scrubby trees out with a tractor and OH was failing miserably to get the rope successfully knotted round the trees. "So you see, Ian - that is how you DON'T tie the knot" .....

When did you last clean your bathroom floor?
I hoovered it on Saturday ...... cos it was filthy and MMM was visiting

Who was your first crush on?
Mark somebody - he was doing some work on my parents house and I thought he was absolutely gorgeous

What was the last book you read and did you enjoy it?
I have a few on the go (Ballycumber - a meaning of liffism for all the half read books that live in your bed). John Seymour, Superior Person's Book of Words, some nonsense about Modern Parenting Stereotypes. I reread a Terry Pratchett a while ago. I read children's books all the time. I inherit chick lit from SIL and try and read them, but they all morph into one after a while.

Where were you when you last laughed?
I laugh at something most days, but can't remember the last belly laugh

Why? (ie what made you laugh)
My work colleague told me some really rubbish jokes and I nodded and smiled, but couldn't find much satisfaction in them. But then, they know I have an allotment so they understand...

When did you last clean your bathroom floor?
The HV was doing a home visit a couple of weeks ago and I didn't want ther to think I lived in a hovel. The toilet is seperate so gets swilled evry other day. One boy has the excuse of "training"

Who was your first crush on?
I am ashamed to say it was Michael Elphick, about 30 years ago. He was in some drama wearing a red jersey and black hat. Then it was Rowan Atkinson in Blackadder...the 1st. Then Marc Almond (boy was THAT barking up the wrong tree!) The pale skin, dark hair combo has endured (albeit a little grizzly) but the waif like figure fancy has mellowed (see dh... )

Where were you when you last laughed?
Coming out of the bathroom.

Why? (ie what made you laugh)
All four of my cats were lined up outside the door waiting for me. I'm not sure whether they think there's a secret escape hatch in there or I can't 'go' on my own!

When did you last clean your bathroom floor?
Yonks ago! My son and I divided up the household chores and he got the bathroom!

Who was your first crush on?
