Glad to be back!

Post: # 287178Post Cligereen »

Hi Everybody,

I'm back on the site after a few years away. I was living in Ireland and moved back to the UK for a couple of years but then I realised the grass wasn't greener and it's not how I remember it from 30 years ago when I was in the prime of my life, so I'm back in the middle of the bog and will probably stay here until my ashes are finally returned to fertilise some part of England.

When I was here last, I was working as a Nurse but that finally got to me and burned me out. I'm now working as a Tour Director, taking people from America and Canada around Britain and Ireland on coach tours. I've never been happier. I have time to look after the veggie plots (which got badly overgrown during my 2.5 years away) and I enjoy the tours every month.

Looking forward to sharing the craic and getting to know the people who have joined in the last couple of years.

Slainte! :occasion5:

welcome back. Interesting you made your way back to the uk and then came back to Ireland, I keep thinking we should return to the UK, but where would you find over 3 acres of boggy land and could we stand going out onto the roads and finding we are sharing the road with other car users.
