Hello everyone.
I'm very glad I've found this website as I'm very interested in self sufficient and generally Green living. My currentl lifestyle is quite defined by my job in a distant isolated business park where I'm pretty forced to use a giant T***o. My job is in a big open plan office with bright lighting and bad heating retention.
I also don't drive and live in a flat above a shop which I rent and have no garden space. This is quite frustrating as most efforts towards self sufficiency require some space. I also have poor balance so I'm reluctant to buy a bike.
In my spare time I like to read, write, play tabletop games, cook vegan food and roller skate. (The latter of which I do with Severn Roller torrent, Gloucestershire's roller derby league). I'm getting married at Westonbirt arboretum next spring to my wonderful fiance who I'm slowly bringing over to green living (not that it takes a lot)
I'm also trying to get fit and excercise with the minimum of environmental impact (rather than use an over air conditioned gym)
Not a lot else, that was mostly grumbling. I promise I am a positive person :)

Re: Hello from Gloucestershire
Hello, welcome to Ish. Do you manage to sprout seeds or anything in your flat, at least it is something fresh you can do at home. FYI we are experiencing a few problems with the search and active topics but hope this is going to resolved very soon so stick with us
