Hi everyone,
I always make my own lemonade. I so far have only one tried and tested recipe for a orange lemonade. But I have grown rather dull of it and I want to try something new. Anyone got any good Recipes? Nothing too unconventional please or from too expensive products.
Also can anyone please tell me how much sugar I Need to ad to one litre of juice. I'm afraid I have been adding to much in my fear of adding to little.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

A recipe to using fresh lemons
Ingredients: two and a half cups of sugar; the finely grated zest of four lemons; a pinch of salt; three cups of lemon juice from about twelve large lemons and a cup of water.
(1) Add the sugar, zest and salt to a cup of water and bring to the boil for about five minutes whilst stirring continually until the sugar is fully dissolved.
(2) Allow to cool to room temperature.
(3) Pour the syrup through a strainer into a bowl and stir in the lemon juice.
(4) Pour into a pre-sterilised bottle and close with a tight fitting lid.
(5) Store in a fridge and use within 3 weeks.

Re: lemonade idea's
Is that for a cordial that you'd dilute, Okra?
I had an idea to make fizzy lemonade using the same method as elderflower champagne, but with more lemons and no flowers. Has anyone tried this? Obviously it would be alcoholic, but only slightly if you didn't leave it too long.

Yes Zech it's a cordial and you only have to add a little to the water as it's quite a concentrated flavour
