get out dried blood stains?

anyone recommend any thing whatsoever?... home made, ish, off the shelf ... natural, chemical... any way of getting out dried on blood stains.....????

I'm not sure how well it will do on dried blood but soaking overnight in a fairly strong slat solution usually does the trick with fresh stains.

tried that......

have used salt for years, but only really works on fresh stains, . not dried on!

maybe there´s something else to mix it with, but havent had any success so far!
probably no hope for this particular item, as have tied so many different things, possibly nothing will shift the stain now, so this garment will be for the bin, but at least if anyone has any suggestions, Ill be ready for the next time!

hydrogen peroxide - hair peroxide.

Also, works great for cleaning deer skulls!

thanks ill try that.... not got too many deer skulls toclean though!!

how long to leave it on though? soak it a while or what?

Blood should be protein based, so you could try biological washing powder. Mixed with warm water (not hot) the enzymes will breakdown proteins and loosen the stain.

Depends on how strong it is, i've got some commercial stuff and it is pretty instant. But i'd start with just dabbing an area.

Not 100% sure but i think bicarbonate of soda might work. It works for most things! Try soaking it with the bicarb overnight then stick it in the machine in the morning.

Are you trying to cover up a crime? Because no matter how much you get off they can still see blood stains with that UV light they use

try CLR - it's a calcium lime rust remover. Mite eat the fabric tho . . .

shhhhhhhhhhhh at least the stains qwouldnt be visible to the naked eye!! and so not draw attention

I ´ll tyr the bicarb as well-

the only peroxide i can get hold of so far, is very mild, so no good
