What can you see from your window?

Post: # 259687Post Graye »

For once it isn't raining in mid Wales so I took this photo this morning. Usually there are plenty of sheep over there which seem to have disappeared. I can also see I need to do some weeding/chopping etc over by the river and weeding on the drive. Oh well...

I thought it might be interesting/inspiring to see what other people can see when they look out.
Growing old is much better then the alternative!

Not raining here either, and more importantly that horrible strong north wind has stopped.
Here's the view from most of our windows, facing south.

Sorry, this isn't a new photo - I've only just seen this thread and the sun is directly facing us, so no photo this evening.

However it has looked just like this, without the clouds, since Saturday.

Not sure if this will work

Image

Gosh it did, it copied direct from my blog! Thought the image size would be too big!

That's the view out of my living room, but nearly every room has a view, although the view is more over the garden and/or lake which is pretty rather than distant mountains etc, but you can't have it all.

Out of 1st floor bathroom window looking over the orchard. That was last year and the apple blossom is not so spectacular this year.

Out the back from the 2nd floor looking over the pond, although I can look to the right over the veg patch as well.

Better stop now or I'll be here all day.

Really pleased I can copy photos direct from blog, cos last time I tried from Picasaweb I got told the images were too big, which I'd never had before, so had given up on posting photos, as haven't time to resize photos to different sizes for different forums/facebook/picasa/google+ etc etc!

I told you not to tell

I love they way you refer to your water as "the pond" MMM - up here it would be designated a loch and would have a name. Oh and someone would own the fishing rights :(
