Green Peppers

Half a bushel of large, perfect green peppers were harvested from five plants. There will be more fruit later if the weather stays warm, since many more blossoms are present. There is no scaring and absolutely no worm damage. I will make juice mixing with cucumbers and tomatoes.

The plants are treated with a liter of water laced with a cup vinegarr periodically throughout the growing season to keep the pH (acidity) of the soil low. Peppers produce well with an acid soil.

The last of the peppers (Seven Plants) were picked today, due to expected frost coming. These are sweet, and two different varieties. They do turn bright red if the season is long enough. There were four plants of hot peppers, which were picked a few days ago. Peppers grow well in my garden.
