This plant has pretty flowers in the Spring, which turns into a hard fruit, which is probably the most sour ever encountered. Apparently it makes a good jelly. There was about a bushel of fruit very late in the season. There are two bushes in the garden dug up as small twigs about four years ago from a neighbours garden. In 2012, I will attempt making a juice and mixing with more sweet juices for drinking.

i make jelly from these each year and coridal both of which are great and keepvery well
