tried my first one and i loved it
but it did not like me and gave the worst batch of wind i've ever experienced
which is a shame because they are all over the place here and growing in abundance

Did you remove the umbo before cooking? That part can be difficult to digest/cause gastric discomfort, particularly if they're on the firm side.
