Not very interesting to all you experienced growers, but I just picked my first ever cucumber, and I'm very very proud of it !

That's brilliant - well done. And dont play it down - anything that is a first is worth celebrating!

Well done!!
And I'd say it is very interesting to even the experienced growers - everyone has had their firsts (I still have the photo of my first courgette!)

Yes, I think we're all that sad.

I have lots of photos of my veg at various stages, mainly because it's my first year growing most things. A friend of mine grew her first ever radish and shared it with us all via facebook.

So why aren't you showing us the picture of the cucumber?

I think you have done really well. My cucumbers have hardly got flowers on yet.

So well done you :salute:

Congratulations! You are quite right to be proud. I had my first one of the year today and I was still really pleased, even though I've grown them before.
