It rained all day here in Lincolnshire yesterday and at times was a real downpour.

This morning the sun is out and the garden looks really fresh, with just one day of rain everything looks brighter and greener.

Weather forecast looks like it is going to get a lot warmer again.

It attempted to rain today but not enough to have any effect at all. We've had high winds, hot sun and high winds, wind driven showers that have blown off as the water touched the ground ....

A most peculiar summer - neither soaking wet nor very hot.

No rain here yet.

There was thunder rumbling around yesterday afternoon and a bit of light drizzle this morning. Better keep my hopes for rain quiet as it could start raining and not stop until September!

We're Lincolnshire too but no rain yet, maybe being on the coast makes a difference. Could really use some rain!

In Warminster yesterday we had rain most of the morning with thunder and lightning. When I got back to Swindon (40 miles north) they'd had nothing. :dontknow:

They keep promising us rain, tomorrow. Always tomorrow, just like jam.
