Finally ...

Post: # 230787Post MKG »

... I'm officially 60. Now I can really turn into a miserable, complaining old git

On a more serious note (a rarity for me) my birthday wish is that everyone on this site (and a few more besides) becomes as happy and contented as I am right now. May your lettuces flourish and your cucumbers be very long.

:occasion6: Happy birthday, Mike. Have a wonderful day and a wonderful year.
I didn't realise you had to be 60 to be a miserable complaining old git. I've already been that for years and I'm only 40!

Happy birthday honey. :hugish:

Do you get a free bus pass so you can go out and moan to all the other miserable old sods?

Thank'ee kind ladies. But I forgot the warning. My Mum's coming to see me at 2.00 p.m. (that probably means 2.30 p.m. Hell - it may mean tomorrow). So here's the warning ...

Mothers are as much a pain in the arse when you're 60 as they are when you're 20. More so, in fact - she still moves the hair from my eyes even though I don't have that much any longer. For those of you who are lumbered with the buggers, my advice is to compost them. There - my first official old git rant.

Mike

EDIT: No, GA, the bus pass takes another 5-year apprenticeship. I thought you'd know that

Happy birthday Mike  and have a lovely day, despite mummy's visit. Well she may have brought you a birthday cake with candles on so be a good boy and save up your puff to blow them all out.

By the way you are dead now with that edit.

You'd be surprised - a long cucumber can make a whole lot of difference in your life. A WHOLE lot.

And I was right - Mama is late!!!!!
