Here's a really simple solution http://www.sustainablemelbourne.com/mod ... big-bucket but it sounds like a great idea to have an outside shower. We're rigging one up for helpXchangers this year, with plans to reuse the water on some young saplings. Reusing greywater from the bathroom is a lot easier than from the kitchen as it doesn''t contain food, but yes using toiletries which don't contain detergents will be better for your soil.

I have 2 rain barrels (50 gallon each)
and a underground cistern (about 1500 gallons)

Last summer was so wet, I never used any of the collected water for the garden.
I'm sure we had much more than I needed.
Luckily, I have pretty good drainage through my garden,
so too much isn't a problem.

I wonder what this season will bring ?
