What a lovely idea!
Beneath an advertizing hoarding, just down from our house near a busy road, a field of poppies began to flourish, but the owner of the board had them strimmed. I wrote & asked why? The answer: 'They were a distraction to drivers!'
I nipped down in the Autumn & reseeded it with poppies, knapweed, vetch & those big daisies that you get in the wild flower mixes.
