Hello from northern Sweden =)!
Hey,
found this forum by googling polytunnels!
In just a couple of weeks my boyfriend and I are moving to the ol' family farm, to try to revive it and start living more self-sufficiently. The first project is to clean up the old cow barn to keep rabbits. I breed Netherland Dwarfs for show, but in february 1 French Lop and 3 Rex are moving in to start making meat! I will possible choose a specific breed later on, the rex does are on loan from a friend. Maybe Alaska or one of the beautiful Swedish native breeds (though less productive, they are beautiful and need preservation).
If this forum is active, I will also be active!

Hi there and welcome!
I like the picture!

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hello and welcome!
My mum used to grow rabbits for food. It is hard work, but it can be a good business. I know in France, rabbit meat has become very popular in the past few years, as this is probably the only farmed meat that has not suffered from food scare (not yet anyway). I wish you good luck with your farm.
