I think you'll find at least 30 Ishers queueing up to be your friend straight away!

As for the looms - have a peep...

FB isn't too scary ... I just find that if is not obvious who some one is then I dont friend them till they let on ... lol also found it useful for selling a few of my bits and bobs ...

I got a flower loom to try out and I have see the bigger round looms ... think they will be very good for socks, hats ...

They have a great selection. Or, if you're feeling rich, try http://www.knitpicks.com and look at their Harmony needles.

They are on my 'If i win the lottery' list! They are circulars, but you can put ends on them to use the straight, or attach cords to make the circular.

I have a set of Denise knitting needles, and they're great! I brought them with me to here because i didn't think Customs would like me walking through with loads of metal pointy things...Since i've been using them i find normal straights to be really difficult to control!

They're quite pricey too...i didn't know that. My mummy bought them for me a couple of christmases ago...

www.facebook.com/flibseyemma but let me know who you are when you "friend" me lol.

as for the knitting needles, i had no idea about the sympathetic vibrations but i have to say i was using some metal ones last week and my carpeltunnel started playing up... i know, normally i am an ardent non knitter, but i needed to do it lol.

I have shopped with (well Hubby has under my instructions for Christmas last year  :cooldude: lol!)
at Scottish Fibre

http://www.scottishfibres.co.uk/acatalo ... xible.html

I have the circular needle set third one down, I'd like the set below, but as we are setting ourselves a challenge this year to make all our gifts or only buy secondhand, I can't see it happening. :(

Their service was great, and I don't know where I would be without this needles now, as you can use the same gauge needles for more than one project as they have caps that you can secure your knitting with - very handy!
