A sheepy sleepygro for the old mans birthday.

Post: # 188972Post Keaniebean »

I finally made this for my husbands birthday which is tomorrow  . He was always telling the kids he was going to steal theirs if he was cold, so having heard that they were selling adult ones in Pri #ark I found a pattern and some lovely sheepy, but still manlyish fleece    . I hope he likes it I'm really pleased with it.

Brilliant - my husband's always saying I need a romper suit (cos I'm always cold and wrapped up in my blankie). Would love to get him one just to see the look on his face.

I'm glad I've given you a giggle  . I've made my mum laugh more with this than I can remember her ever laughing.

I found this site and it was going to cost me £68 for one!!!!!!!!!1

http://www.the-all-in-one-company.co.uk/index.php

No way! So I made one instead, which cost me around £25, but I have the pattern to keep obviously so i think its sleepygros all round, and if ever you need to dress up like a monkey.... well you know where to come as the pattern was meant to be for an adult animal costume!

Absoloutly :thumbright: , that had already crossed my mind :sign5: :toothy10:

I was just thinking that maybe I should get him modelling out in the front garden, the neighbours all think we are loopy anyway and after the dustbin man saw him with green painted toe nails they all know we are nuts here.

The toe nail incident was after I painted them for a joke, I'm a touch evil like that, but poor thing forgot to take it off and went down the garden path to put the rubbish out and wondered why the dustbin man was giving him odd looks. When I pointed to his toes (which he had forgotten all about) he was a touch

He'll probably hoot with laughter. He'll probably love it. He may even wear it. But never, ever, EVER, will he allow you to photograph him in it and post the result here.

Bets are now being taken

He loved it although he is looking a bit sheepish (sorry about the pun) as my mum was also in the room at this point. I have to say though he fell asleep on the sofa in it last night and he keeps saying thankyou, so I think he actually really like it.

Fabulous! I think he should wear it out as it might start a new trend. I'm glad he likes it, it does look really cosy. Well done!

Dagnabit! You got all the "looking sheepish" jokes in first. My brain won't run to any more

Great stuff, he looks brilliant, warm and toasty - when are you making the hat to finish the ensemble?
