Yeah, great idea - except that new trees get planted in February in most of Europe.

I've sent this to a couple of people I know. One has been tree planting parties before, the other is a member of the Green Party and has a BIG mailing list.

Well. according to local wisdom, they're planted in Feb to avoid the worst of the winter weather. I normally put in a couple of trees a year - always in Feb. No point in chancing it, eh?mamos wrote:So is there a problem with planting a tree in December?
