The Ishy spirit is gently spreading

Over the last few weeks, as I've been at home for the summer hols, my friends and I have been able to spend a bit more time together - and boy has it been productive. I've persuaded them both to fish out their bread makers and make their own bread - one is now completely converted and even her sons now prefer her home made brown bread to shop bought white, we've spent a lot of time baking and sharing what we've produced. We are sharing child care (and the kids are all really getting along

) so that we can each get on with the jobs we need to do, instead of going into town to shop individually, cars are being shared or shopping lists sent with who ever is going. We are all able to share skills, time and kindnesses and things are running really smoothly and happily. The stresses of family life are reduced as we can share the burden and support each other. And one of them has just ordered her first local vegie box

Long may it continue
