You can store it in pretty much any kind of plastic bottle. I happen to have some 5 litre vinegar containers but 2 litre pop bottles work just as well. I've also made it in smaller batches

Sorry to ask but how much do you use per wash? I have 3 boys who love playing in the mud (well not the baby yet but give him a few months and he will be joining in too!). There seems to be a high ratio of liquid to soap. Does it get muddy, grassy, food stained kids school uniforms clean?

I have been keeping my eye open for the ingredients and pondering what will hold 16 pints of water.....

I use about 150ml per wash - that's the first mark on the wash ball. As with other liquid soaps you can always use more or less as required. I keep mine in the 5 litre bottles that the vinegar comes in but 2 litre pop bottles or milk cartons work just as well. You can also make it in lesser amounts

I meant hold it to mix it together, not once it is bottled. I was thinking an old style bin would do the trick...

16 pints is no more than an ordinary bucket.
