After our fantastic sidewalk shop and donations from several locations, we are now cleaning and boxing the excess.
It is something light I can do in this heat, and part of it is in the carport, which is cool all day, same for the basement and doing laundry, but dishes have to be done early or late, too hot during the day.
So I've got some fantastic mixing bowls, 3 juicers, a dehydrator, and enough cutlery to sink a ship , plus enough dishes to outfit every "residence" on the place.
Today I am going to clean the trailer, its parked in the shade and I can take a fan out there.
Hopefully I can get Rolly to clean his camper and then we'll both clean the big camper.
Lots to do.
Clean up goes on in the garden with weeding, on the property with the weedeater and lawnmowers-I have 4. Two 4 footed and Two 4 wheeled!
Weeds got to the chickens or next door for Frank's pigs (I don't even waste weeds) I sort it all first as I'm weeding so the pigs don't get anything poisonous.
We've been cleaning the freezers (2) and the fridge too. I've been making all sorts of different soups with frozen leftovers and most of them have turned out well.
I love my little farm and I have a deal with our regional district by-law officer. "Keep it tidy"
So tidy it will be, it may take some time, but we'll get it done.
